Soccer Program   

Families,

As you learned on registration night, HVCS will be joining alongside Ridgedale Baptist Church to offer “Upward soccer” for our students.  Many of you received information pertaining to this.  Ridgedale is offering HVCS students the $59 rate.  Your child will receive a soccer jersey & shorts that is included in this fee.

HVCS students will be put on the same team depending upon age/grade (up to 7 per team).  If we do not have enough students to fill a team, our students will be placed with other children who have previously signed up through Ridgedale.  For those of you who are new to the Upward soccer program, I can personally say that is a wonderful, well-run program (both of my children played when they were youngerJ). 

If you are interested in your child playing, please note the following:

·         Your child will need to attend at least one of the following soccer evaluations at Ridgedale Baptist Church (see address below).

-K4-3^rd grade boys & girls:   Monday, August 15 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (you can come on Aug 22 if this date is inconvenient)

-4^th & 5^th grade boys & girls:  Monday, Aug. 22 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (you can come on Aug 15 if this date is inconvenient)

·         All sign-up forms will be due in the HVCS office by Monday, August 29.

·         Attach your $59 payment (checks need to be made out to Ridgedale Baptist Church) to the form when you turn it in.

·         Your child will be contacted by their coach once the teams are decided.  (If you are interested in coaching, please let me know via e-mail).

·         Practices will begin the week of Sept. 5 and are one night per week.

·         Games are played on Saturday’s beginning Sept. 17 at Ridgedale Baptist Church.
