August Newsletter/Reminders

Dear Parents,

            We hope everyone had a wonderful summer. We enjoyed the time we had with the children during our phase in days.   We are looking forward to an exciting year with your children.  We have many great things planned.  There are a few reminders listed below.  

Monday Mail Envelopes

These will be sent home each week.  We will enclose your child’s completed work from the previous week.   There will also be written communication from the Kindergarten class; however, this information will only be sent the first of each month.  This information is to make you aware of any special activities that pertain specifically to Kindergarten, such as special visitors, parties, and field trips.  If we feel any new information that needs to be brought to your attention, we will send additional written communication.  You will need to sign the outside of the envelope and return to school the following day. 

Lunch menus

It is very important that lunch menus be completed online on the date requested.  If the lunch menu is not completed on the specified date, he/she will need to bring their lunch for the entire month.  Please make sure your child has his/her lunch if you have not chosen for them to eat at school that day.  Parents are always welcome to join their child for lunch; however,  we just ask that you please notify the office if you plan to eat at school. 

Emergency Information

Please complete this form as soon as possible.  Please notify us of important information such as any allergies or medications regarding your child. 

Other reminders

* Please send in a change of clothes for your child.    *Please be sure each piece of clothing is labeled and put into a ziploc bag with his/her name on the bag. 

*Please sign up for a party if you have not already done so.

*Please send in a nap mat for your child if he/she does not leave at 1:00.

*Please send in your supplies if you have not already done so. 

*Please send a healthy snack with your child each day.  *Please label the snack. 

*K5 students, please bring in a pencil box if you have not already done so.
