About Grades 1 - 5

Our goal is to provide an academic program that will be challenging and will prepare students for entrance into our middle school or into the middle school of their choice. A portion of our 5^th grade students takes the entrance exams for other school including McCallie, GPS, and Baylor. Other students remain at HVCS through the 8^th grade. We offer an excellent middle school program which will prepare students for high schools in this area.

There is a sibling discount if more than one child is enrolled at the school.
Payments may be made in full, at the semester or in monthly installments and are
due on the first of each month. A late fee will be incurred if payment is not received by the 15^th of the month.

Lunch: A menu is sent home monthly and orders are made on a monthly basis. The cost is $3.25 daily. Milk and juice can be ordered for an extra fee.

Before & After care: Child care is provided before and after school at an additional charge.

	7:30 - 7:45 AM	$1.50

After Care:
Cost:	3:30 - 4:45	$4.00
	4:45 - 6:00	$4.00
	*Total Cost for entire time	$8.00

Dress code: Students wear khaki or navy bottoms and collared shirts with sleeves. All students should wear shoes that totally enclose the feet and are comfortable. Socks are to be worn with shoes.

Textbooks: Textbooks are provided through tuition. Books that are lost or damaged will need to be replaced by the student.

Raceway phonics (1^st)
Singapore Math (1^st and 2^nd)

ABEKA math (3^rd)

Houghton Mifflin social studies (3^rd) United States/Regions
