Spanish Assignments for grades 2,3,4, and 5 FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:

Week of April 9th and April 16th

Second grade:  Practice your food items and your everyday conversational expressions.  These should all be in your notebooks. 

DUE IN TWO WEEKS:  Draw your own comic strips or cartoons and write the expressions for each character in Spanish.  We will practice these in class this week.  WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE WHAT WE DO IN CLASS SO THAT YOU WILL KNOW WHAT YOUR S SHOULD LOOK LIKE!  Copies of sample cartoons will be given to the students and will be put in their Monday Mail folders.

THIRD GRADE:  SAME AS ABOVE!

FOURTH GRADE:  Copy again the new expressions (weather, feelings and emotions, and descriptions) learned in class today.  They should be in your notebook.  Also, study the pages on furniture in your workbook.

FIFTH GRADE: SAME AS ABOVE!

FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADE:  These two grade levels will have a comprehensive FINAL EXAM.  This means that the students will take a test that will cover everything we have learned in class since August until now.  This is done to prepare them for comprehensive final exams at other schools-this is a common practice at most of the schools where our students will be going next year or the year after.

We will be reviewing every week begining this week!  Students will be more than prepared for this kind of test.  However, constant and consistent practice at home will also help!  Students do need to worry about correct spelling for this test.
