12. We use a website, www.spanishspanish.com to practice the vocabulary learned in class. We go to the lab at least twice a month.
13. We learn the names of family members in Spanish (and in context-full sentences).
14. We learn the names different articles of clothing in context (full sentences).
15. We learn to say "My head hurts.", "My stomach hurts", and other aches and pains (in context-full sentences).
***Students in first grade have a book: The Complete Book of Spanish. They have homework every week to practice the vocabulary being learned in class. They also have done some minor reading and writing during class. Copies of the handouts are available in my classroom, if needed.
***Homework is given at the very begining of the week (on Monday Mail), and the students have until Friday of that same week to complete the homework. Permission to turn in homework a few days after the due date is granted if there is a medical excuse or an excused absence.

Skills for 2nd grade:
