Week of 11/28- 12/16 Math: workbook pages 109-115 and Textbook p. 416-419. I also have several worksheets he needs to pick up when he returns. Sciecne: Read pages 272-279 and complete packet if he has it and take quiz. Read pages 284-289 and compete packet, if he has it and take quiz. Social Studies: Take test, if he has it. We are watching a History Channel documentary called "The Story of Us". Bible: workbook pages through p. 104 Weeks of 11/7 - 11/22 Math: workbook P. 106-108 text book pages 392-401; Test Science: Science test; Read p. 260-266 do packet and take quiz Social Studies: Read chapter 11 p. 344-371. Do questions on P. 352,357,362 and 371. Do worksheet and study for test. We watched a movie called "7 Alone". Good family movie if you want to watch it. Bible: workbook pages through 85. Week of 10/31-11/4 Math: Text: P. 374-377;p. 382-383 Workbook P.102-105 Science: Read p124-132 Do quick lab and pick up packet when you return. Social Studies: Essay on " How is the US government organized?" Pick up your new text book and read p. 342-352 and do questions on p. 352.
Week of 10/19- 10/28 Reading: Read Oceans and complete the work packet to that story. Do the anticipation guide "before" column prior to reading the story. After reading it, complete the "after" column. Do the vocabulary quiz. Begin reading AR for the 2nd quarter requirements. You need 20 or more AR points including (2) fictions, (1) biography, and (1) nonfiction other than a biography. Complete any Weekly Readers and worksheets that accompany them in the packet. Language Arts: Complete pages 78-80 and pages 82-88. Spelling: Take Units 5,7, 8, 9,and 10 tests if you have the word lists with you. If not, you will need to come in and take them when you are in town. Units 5, 7, and 8 are for the 1st quarter's grade for your report card. Also complete Units 11,13, and 14. Please take those tests as you complete the unit's pages. This should take you through the next 3-4 weeks. Thanks! Science: Finish Jekyll Journal; Read p. 110-121 I will give you the worksheets the next time you are in town. Social Studies: Read Chicago vs. Morales and do the questions on p. 122. Essay on "How is the US government organized?" is due on Nov. 4th. Use your outlines to help you write it. I will return them to you when you come to get work. Social Studies: Read p. 99-103 and outline the main idea and do questions on p. 108. they need to be written in complete sentences and restate the question in your answer. Read p. 109-113 and outline the main ideas. Bible: Workbook pages 43-53 Memory verse: James 2:8 Week of 10/10-10/21 Math: workbook pages 91-94 and the worksheets I sent home. Science: Read and do the activity on page 97. Read P. 100-104 and complete the packet. Social Studies: Read and 93-97 and outline the main idea. Answer questions on p. 98. Read pages 99-103 and outline main idea. Weekly Reader Bible: workbook pages: through p.42 Memory verse: I Corinthians 10:13 Spelling: All units through Unit 9 need to be completed as well as the Writing on Your Own sections. Test need to be taken. Each word is worth 3 points each. You may email his scores to me. Skip review unit 6. Vocabulary: Units 3 and 4 need to be completed and tests taken on them. We will skip all the review units. Reading: Read Summer of Fire and complete the worksheets to it. You will also have Weekly Readers to read and complete. AR Reading: You need to earn 20 AR points by October 21st. You will need (2) fictions, (1) nonfiction, and (1) biography to meet your AR requirements. Language Arts: Pages 42-77 need to be completed by the 21st.
Week of 9/19-23 Math: P. 352-355 Sets A-J I will have a test ready for him. Science: I will have a test on Chapter 1 for him. Read P. 90-94 and complete packet for this lesson. Social Studies: Read 90-97. Do review questions of P. 92. We are memorizing the Preamble. He needs to say it to me before Jekyll. Weekly Reader Bible: workbook pages 38-46 Spelling: lessons 4, 5, and 7 Week of 9/12-9/16 Math: Workbook pages 201, 89 and 90. Textbook pages 323, 325-329 Science: Textbook pages 80-83 Study this chapter and get the test the next time you are in town. Social Studies: read p. 79-90 do questions on page 84. Keep working on memorizing your States and Capitals. Bible: workbook pages 29-37; memory verse James 1:22

Math- workbook pages 83-85 and text p. 312-315 Science- Read P. 54-61 Complete the outline ( I think I gave you). Do the questions on page 61 and any activity that might be fun for him. Social Studies- Read and Outline P. 65-69 answer questions on P. 70. The next time you are in to pick up work, I will send the Weekly Readers. Do the activity on P. 73-75 but DO NOT WRITE IN THE BOOK! Bible- Complete workbook pages 14-22. Memory verse James 1:2-4
