Our K4 and K5 children have been experiencing upward and downward melodic direction by singing, moving and playing rhythm instruments to "Gatatumba" and "Freddy Flea".  They have also heard and identified various environmental sounds that demonstrate steady beat and register (high/low).  During the next two weeks, we will hear more sounds that demonstrate dynamics (loud/soft) and tempo (fast/slow).  The children love guessing what makes the various sounds!

We are also beginning to work on the music for our end-of-the-year program.
